Gilbert, who obtained his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Physical Culture (ISEF) at the Manuel Fajardo University in Havana (Cuba) in 1994, has extensive experience in sport, both as a professional volleyball player and as a volleyball coach. He has also expanded his massage career with great knowledge from his own experience as a player.
He began his massage career with a certification in therapeutic massage and sports at 'Orthos', Barcelona (2003).
He then attended courses at the 'Health Deusto' rehabilitation center in Barcelona (2010-2011). The last massage training took place in Switzerland: Certification for therapeutic massage (Aggregation Foundation ASCA 2014-2015).
